I Miss Sequim :(

At least I can see my puppies here :) I have been playing Sim City 4 lately, it's fun but I get too into it and see buildings and scaffolding when I close my eyes. I think I was dreaming about my city last night... meep!

Yes We Can

I am very excited about the upcoming election! I was going to post Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric (you can see it here), but I figured I wanted to post something positive first. Well Palin's interview is positive for the Obama campaign... she can't seem to answer one question straight. I wonder how she will do in the debates tomorrow! OOh I'm psyched.

Jedediah Smith

I was so excited to visit the redwoods when we went through California on our way to the Oregon Coast. I wish I could have seen more! Jedediah Smith is a small park that runs along the Smith River. It's got two trails and a camp ground. I found this book The Wild Trees a few weeks before I left. I want to say it was fascinating but I think then I sound like an old lady. Regardless it was a good read.

Sisters

This picture is from September 1st, when we moved Kathy into her dorm and Wendy into her new apartment in Northampton. It's really close to downtown, pretty much looking over it - and right above the Iron Horse. I think she likes it so far, especially the old safe. It used to be an old ballroom I guess, and those are the stairs that came down into the ballroom.

All Grown Up

Little miss Kathy moved into her dorm at Umass this Fall! How crazy, she is old enough to vote and get a credit card and everything. She is doing her own thing and I haven't seen much of her recently... now there are no more kids at home, I bet Mom and Dad are getting pretty bored!

Si Se Puede

It's been a year since I started this 'blog'! Except I haven't written in it for most of it. I'm just bad at this stuff! Maybe I'll start to think about it more. Another semester started, after a nice month off with a little vacation to Oregon including the coast where I took this picture. I was also sick for the last month with some cold-type allergy things and have been extremely lazy! Nothing new!

Happy New Year

Kathy pointed out to me today that it looks like Jared is letting the whale out of the garbage can in this picture. Haha. This holiday season has been pretty uneventful so far. I am getting all my stuff ready to start school in a few days. I am pretty nervous, but looking forward to it. There is a new puppy next door. It is big and fluffy and I want it to be our friend!
